Not long ago, a randomized placebo-controlled trial published by Total Food Magazine evaluated the effects of

Aged garlic extract (AGE) on the inflammation and immune system in obese people.

It shows that old garlic can inhibit the inflammatory response of obese people and improve cardiovascular health.

Before the trial began, the researchers recruited a total of 51 obese volunteers and randomly assigned them.

During the 6-week intervention period, subjects received 3.6 grams of AGE or placebo per day.

The test results showed that at the end of the study, subjects with AGE had significantly lower inflammatory cytokines
